ITM is part a steering group of industry experts working with the British Geological Survey on the development of PRIME, a low-cost sensor configuration specifically designed for infrastructure monitoring and remote operation. When deployed on critical geotechnical assets such as embankments, cuttings and dams, PRIME is capable of imaging the internal physical condition of infrastructure earthworks using diagnostic methods traditionally used in medical physics.

The STICK is a low cost GNSS device that delivers high value data to monitor the smallest of movement of critical infrastructure, including land and buildings. Detecting millimetre level movements, STICK is used to monitor the stability of: earthworks, such as embankments, cuttings, flood defences, etc; above and below ground construction sites; the built environment, such as buildings, bridges, pylons, supporting structures and wind turbines; temporary structures, such as stands, seating, lighting, flood defences; and the natural environment, such as landslides, earthquakes, tremors, coastal condition/erosion, ice caps.
