Four new team members welcomed to support ITM’s continued expansion

As we near the end of 2018, ITM Monitoring – a SOCOTEC company – has continued to grow at pace with four new team members joining across the business, further demonstrating our commitment to offering excellent service to our clients. We’re excited to introduce you to our latest appointments…

Robyn Denney-Foster joins us as a Graduate Project Engineer, having recently graduated with an MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Brighton, specialising in sustainable and geotechnical engineering. Having completed a Structural Engineering internship at Mott MacDonald and an Assistant Site Manager work placement at Stepnell Ltd., Robyn is a great addition to the ITM team and comments:

I am most looking forward to getting on site now and working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer. It’s great to know that ITM really encourages this development and will support me throughout the process.

We’re pleased to welcome back to the team Rob King-Mason. Having worked for the company previously, Rob already has an in-depth knowledge of the business and how it operates, so he is ideally placed to support our clients in his new role as Senior Site Engineer. Rob’s experience in the design, installation, commissioning and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation systems for civil engineering projects in the UK and overseas makes him a great asset to both ITM and our clients. Commenting on his appointment, Rob said:

This is a great time to be re-joining ITM Monitoring, following the SOCOTEC acquisition. The company has gone through some rapid growth over recent months, winning some fantastic new projects, and I’m looking forward to helping the team successfully deliver monitoring campaigns on a range of these sites.

Also making his return to the company, and joining as Technical Systems Engineer, is Barry Henderson. Working primarily in data acquisition and systems development, Barry is responsible for providing technical support both internally and externally to clients, as well as the integration of new technologies. Barry comments:

I’m really looking forward to a new challenge supporting the fantastic and highly regarded technical team at ITM Monitoring, ensuring that we continue to provide excellent support to our clients as the company continues to grow.

Alex Howes has joined ITM Monitoring as Stores Assistant. Alex has previously held various multi-trader roles, working primarily as a bricklayer and is now responsible for checking and quantifying ITM’s stock levels and building monitoring equipment, which he is particularly looking forward to.

In my spare time, when I’m not ensuring that the Stores department is organised, I’m a boxer,” comments Alex. “I’m sure that my discipline in the ring will translate into keeping ITM’s stock levels in great shape.

And, we’re still recruiting!

Due to the company’s continued growth, we still have a number of vacancies available across various departments. If you’re looking for a new challenge in the new year and want to join our talented team, visit our careers page for details of current opportunities.
