ITM Monitoring achieves four stars in its latest RISQS audit

ITM Monitoring has been audited and again awarded the annual Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) certificate, achieving four stars with no nonconformities. The award highlights ITM’s increased compliance and improvement, further demonstrating the ability of the team to successfully meet the requirements of the rail industry.

In order to work on UK Railway Infrastructure, an organisation must comply with the RISQS audit protocols. To achieve a four-star status, ITM Monitoring continued to demonstrate how the company adheres to strict standards on all railway projects, verifying that we have the required documentation, procedures and processes in place to achieve compliance and perform to exemplary safety standards.

“We’re proud to announce that we have successfully passed the RISQS audit, achieving a four-star rating with no nonconformities,” Comments Sonia Ortela, SHEQ Manager at ITM Monitoring. “I’m delighted that our continual assessment of risks and quality management has once again been recognised through the annual audit, providing our clients with the peace of mind that our work in the rail industry is delivered with the greatest competence and regard for health and safety.”

The RISQS audit service is the GB rail industry audit programme that pre-qualifies suppliers to work in the industry, enabling suppliers to demonstrate compliance against both the industry wide assurance requirements as set out by RISQS Board, and specific infrastructure requirements as defined by the relevant Infrastructure Managers.

The RISQS scheme supports Network Rail, London Underground Limited (LUL), Transport for London (TfL) and many other major infrastructure contractors as buying organisations, all of whom ITM are pleased to have re-prequalified to continue to work with.
