ITM Monitoring announces a host of senior level appointments
We are enjoying a strong start to 2019 with new senior members of staff joining and another returning to the company. At the start of the new year, Justin Roffey was welcomed as Operations Director, Jeff Foggo as Senior Project Manager and Stuart Fawcett as Business Development Manager, further strengthening our management team.
Formerly General Manager at Keller Getec, Justin Roffey returns to ITM Monitoring as Operations Director. Having worked for the company previously as a Senior Site Engineer on the Crossrail project, we are pleased to welcome Justin back to head up the operations team to ensure we continue to provide exceptional service and support to clients as the company grows.
Given Justin’s history at ITM Monitoring, he already benefits from an in-depth knowledge of the business and how it operates, as well as some great working relationships within SOCOTEC – ITM Monitoring’s parent company – and the wider industry, so he is ideally placed to oversee the operations teams.
“The seamless functioning of the operations team is vital to client satisfaction,” comments Justin. “With this in mind, my main responsibilities as Operations Director include ensuring the team is well supported, well managed and that they have the resources and equipment they need to deliver a project efficiently, safely, on time and within budget. ITM has strong values about the way the team works and how the business is run, and I’m incredibly excited about further enhancing the service we provide to clients and being part of the company’s future success.”
Jeff Foggo joins ITM as Senior Project Manager from Site Engineering Surveys (SES), where he worked for over six years contracting and project managing structural and environmental monitoring schemes on some of the largest construction projects in London and the surrounding areas. Jeff’s experience of delivering high profile monitoring projects – including the Battersea Power Station redevelopment, London Gateway Port and Bond Street upgrade – makes him a great asset to both ITM and our clients.
As Senior Project Manager, Jeff is responsible for assisting the business with projects from the tender stage right through to project completion, ensuring that we continue to exceed the standards of project delivery our clients expect.
Commenting on his new position, Jeff said: “There is an excellent team ethic at ITM, and it’s something I’m really looking forward to contributing to. ITM is working on such a diverse range of projects and I feel I have what it takes to assist all team members across departments to ensure these projects are delivered efficiently. This is a great time to be joining ITM, following the SOCOTEC acquisition. The company has gone through some rapid growth over recent months, winning some fantastic new projects, and it will be great to help to further expand this portfolio.”
Previously Account Manager at SOCOTEC UK, Stuart Fawcett has transferred to ITM as Business Development Manager. His extensive experience of working with Tier 1 Contractors, Consultants and primary stakeholders – and his knowledge of professional services across civils, geotechnical ground and structural investigations – perfectly positions him to understand the challenges faced by ITM’s clients, and work closely with them and our internal teams to develop workable monitoring solutions.
Stuart’s background at SOCOTEC will also enable him to draw on his knowledge of other services within the group, identifying additional opportunities and potential risks for a client – either at bid stage or delivery – and adding value by formulating packages of services which mitigate those risks and maximise the opportunities and efficiencies for our clients.
Commenting on his appointment, Stuart said: “ITM has a great reputation in the industry for delivering efficient, fit for purpose monitoring solutions. Like ITM, I place a strong emphasis on delivery, technical service and developing sustainable client relationships, so transferring to ITM was a natural fit for me. Already, it is clear to see that ITM is a very connected company, with the various teams within the business – R&D, technical support, data acquisition and operations – all working together as a cohesive unit for the benefit of clients. I’m looking forward to being part of this and further strengthening our offering to clients by drawing on my knowledge of other services available within the group.”
