ITM Monitoring is now a Disability Confident Committed organisation
ITM Monitoring is pleased to demonstrate its support of disabled people within the workplace by becoming a Disability Confident Committed Employer. The national scheme promotes a positive approach to enabling disabled people and those with other health conditions within the workplace.
The initiative focuses on organisations attracting the right people, retaining and developing them, helping disabled people to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations. As a Disability Confident Committed Employer, ITM Monitoring has vowed to offer an accessible and inclusive recruitment process, drawing new talent from the widest possible pool, as well as provide reasonable adjustments and support to existing employees with a disability or long-term health condition, enabling them to stay in work.
“We were keen to become a Disability Confident Committed employer to show our dedication to equality in the workplace, supporting the employment, retention, training and career development of disabled people,” comments Sonia Ortela, SHEQ Manager at ITM Monitoring. “We aim to enable and support every employee at ITM, helping all staff to realise their potential and achieve to the best of their ability. Being Disability Confident is another indicator to our employees, clients, partners and other stakeholders about the type of company ITM is, and we’re pleased to be supporting the scheme in helping to positively change attitudes, behaviours and cultures in the workplace.”
