ITM invited to share technical expertise at IoT Thames Valley Meetup
In the fast-paced world of tech, the opportunity to share knowledge, experience and best practice with other industry leaders cannot be rated highly enough. It’s one of the reasons why we exhibit at – and attend – a range of conferences, seminars and other events throughout the year, to ensure we remain at the forefront of our industry. When we were invited to share our expertise at the Internet of Things Thames Valley Meetup, alongside other respected speakers, we jumped at the chance.
Taking place on 7th February 2018 at the Green Park Conference Centre in Reading, Sheridan Elliott – ITM’s Data Acquisition & System Integration Manager – will present on the topic of ‘The Evolution of Geotechnical & Structural Monitoring in to the IoT World’. Sheridan will demonstrate ITM’s own state-of-the-art Calyx Online Monitoring Software (OMS)™ which boasts not only a highly flexible platform for data visualisation, but allows the client to access software tools to validate and manage the data produced across multiple sites, supporting vital decision making on high-profile asset management and construction projects.
Sheridan comments: “I have attended Internet of Things Thames Valley events in the past and always found them to be a fantastic setting for discussing the latest IoT products, applications and service innovations, as well as a chance to forge new connections, revisit long-standing ones and explore collaboration opportunities. When we were offered the chance to showcase ITM’s technical expertise in front of this exciting and high-level community of professionals, it was an opportunity not to be missed.”
Also speaking at February’s IoT Meetup will be Andrew Jones of Arm, Mike Everest of Meniscus Systems, Ben Howes of Overlock and Ed Cooper of VitalSix.
